Before you can start, position your Piaggio Zip on the centre stand. Begin by removing the mirrors by loosening the respective securing nuts, then unscrew the mirrors themselves. Next, remove the handlebar covers by unscrewing the fixing screws and unclipping them, then disconnect the relevant electrical connectors. This will allow you to access the screw that secures the brake lever, which you need to unscrew and remove. At this point, disconnect the cable attached to the brake. Once you have completed this step, you can remove the brake lever, and you will have finished the disassembly.
