To change the battery on your Vespa 125, start by removing the floorboard covering the battery compartment, secured by 4 screws. Then, remove the two screws that secure the battery to the floor. Now you can see the battery terminals: always remove the black one first, the negative. You can then take out the battery. For better grip on the bolts, insert a small piece of plastic where they will be inserted. Refit the battery in its housing, reconnect the positive terminal first, then the negative. Secure the battery to the floor with its two screws. Replace the floorboard covering the battery compartment. Job done.
