Start by opening the seat, then remove the battery cover by unscrewing the relevant upper screws. Next, disconnect both terminals using a cross-head screwdriver, starting with the negative, and extract the battery from its housing.

To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure, reconnecting the positive terminal first.
