How to disassemble an engine of a Piaggio Ciao

As you can see in the video, the first thing to do to disassemble the engine on your Piaggio Ciao scooter is to remove the side strips where the pedals and the muffler are housed. Remove the spark plug cap and the decompressor and with a 5 cent coin unscrew the screw on the engine cover. Remove the bracket and disconnect the two ends of the electrical system. Close the petrol tap. Loosen the three screws that hold the engine as shown in the video and move the engine block forward with the lever or with your hands only. Remove the air filter and gas valve. Remove the carburetor and the coil, unscrew the spark plug anticlockwise. Unscrew the three screws you loosened before and you will have disassembled your engine.

How do you change the engine oil of the BMW R 1200 GS?

The replacement of the engine oil of the BMW R 1200 GS is carried out by loosening the bolts that secure the skid plate positioned in the lower part of the bike. Once this plate has been removed, it will be possible to unscrew the drain plug below, so that the used oil can be collected inside a suitably positioned container. Next to the drain plug you will find the oil filter, which in turn must be extracted and replaced with a new one. After the replacement, it will be possible to top up from the special vent on the crankcase to the left of the bike.
