To replace the battery in the Piaggio Vespa 150 LX, use a tool to pry off the plastic covers that surround the instrument panel: once these coverings are removed, locate the screws that secure the instrument panel to its housing, loosening them and disconnecting the connectors inside.

This way, the instrument panel can be completely removed, and the clock battery can be taken out from the back; then, insert the new one and refit the panel.

In the case shown in the video, the new keys are not recognised by the ECU: the Vespa starts but does not run (thus the immobiliser is active). The solution shown in the video involves locating the immobiliser chip in the old key (the one recognised by the ECU). Open the cover on the key (only red master keys or some blue ones), remove the chip (which is a small black cylinder or rectangle), insert it into the new key in place of the new one, and try to start. Now the key will work. If the master key is red, it will definitely work. If it is blue, it might work: you need to cut the silicone; this is possible but a delicate operation. If it is a black clone key, then it is a system that does not work.
