How to change the battery of a Porsche Boxster key?

To change the battery of a Porsche Boxster key, start by removing the small cover on the back of the key using a small flathead screwdriver or a similar tool. Gently insert the screwdriver into the slot and lever to lift the cover. Once the cover is removed, you will see the battery. Note the orientation of the battery before removing it. Carefully remove the old battery using the screwdriver or your fingers. Insert a new battery of the correct type (usually a CR2032) in the same orientation as the old one, making sure the contacts are properly aligned. After inserting the new battery, put the cover back in place, pressing until it locks into position. Check that the key works correctly by testing the buttons to ensure that the signal is transmitted to the car.
