The air filter allows the engine of your Dodge RAM 3500 to "breathe" correctly so as to ensure its maximum efficiency and reliability, avoiding any abnormal overheating. First of all, make sure you have completely turned off the car. Then lift the front hood and locate the box containing the filter on the left side of the compartment. Unhook the metal clip and lift the lid. At this point, remove the old filter and insert the new one. Finally, replace the lid and close the metal safety clip.
