The following video diagnoses a problem with a stuck valve and low compression in the engine. To begin, disconnect the battery. Remove the throttle assembly, intake pipe, and exhaust gas recirculation pipe. From the pictures you notice that the left valve cover has already been removed. Disconnect the injector connectors by first lowering the red tab and then squeezing the other black tab. Use special pliers to disconnect the fuel line. Remove the intake manifold by unhooking the injector connectors also on the other side of course. Now remove the alternator and the air conditioning pump in order to have more space to access the engine. Continue by removing the front passenger side wheel arch. After removing the wheel, start removing the exhaust manifold. Remove the rods and rocker arms by arranging them in order exactly as you removed them from the engine. Now loosen the cylinder head screws and remove it carefully and perhaps with the help of another person. Car Model: Dodge RAM 5.7 V8 Year: 2006
