How to Replace the EGR Valve on a Dodge RAM 1500?

To replace the EGR valve on a Dodge RAM 1500, open the hood and remove all the screws securing the air filter box, which must be moved to access the lower components. The EGR valve is located underneath, between the intake manifold and the exhaust manifold: to remove it, disconnect its retaining clips and unscrew the corresponding bolts. Once the valve is freed, you can pull it out of its housing and replace it with a new part. After installation, also resecure the air filter box.
