This guide shows how to remove the spare tire from the Dodge Ram 2500 Mk3. To perform this operation, check if the tool kit in the vehicle includes extensions to reach the spare tire winch located at the bottom of the frame. Insert two extensions into the hole on the upper right side of the rear license plate to avoid damaging the body. Rotate the lever counterclockwise to lower the tire, and when it is on the ground, remove the retaining bolt located in the center of the wheel rim. Tighten the winch in position and reinstall the tools used in the compartment under the right front seat.
