This Dodge RAM has some problems with the engine: a double noise (a kind of knock and a ticking) is audible when the engine is running. This noise is identified on the right side, that of the passenger. After removing the rocker arm cover, you can see that a 13mm bolt on one of the rocker arm supports has broken; the broken bolt must therefore be extracted and replaced. After putting the pair of supports on a vice, use a small chisel to unscrew the threaded part of the bolt. Install the rocker arm support with a new bolt. The cause of the noise should have been eliminated!
