RAM 2500 - Video tutorial

Model: RAM 2500 MK 2, BR, BE - Years 1994-2001
Part: Checks and maintenance
Operation: ABS fault interpretation instructions

If the ABS warning light (yellow circle with two lateral semicircles) and also the word BRAKE flashes when the ignition is switched on, there is certainly something wrong with the braking system; the flashing mode of the warning light provides information on the type of fault (when it is not possible to carry out a diagnosis via OBD, this method can also be used): the first prolonged flash is followed by another nine shorter ones; consulting the manual it is found that this mode refers to a fault related to the speed sensor; it is also apparently a fairly frequent breakdown in this type of vehicle.
