How to Change the Engine Oil and Filter on the Dodge RAM 2500 Mk4

This guide shows how to change the oil on the Dodge RAM 2500 Mk4. To perform this operation, drain the engine oil using a square wrench; during this operation, have a container ready for the used lubricant. From the right front wheel well, using an oil filter wrench, loosen the filter and remove it; it is recommended to buy an oil filter cap to prevent oil from spilling during removal. Close the engine oil reservoir and clean up any residue. Fill the new oil filter with new lubricant and install the cap; tighten it in place. Fill the reservoir with new engine oil and run the engine for a few minutes. Check the fluid level and top off if necessary.
