To replace the air filter on a Dodge Ram 2500, open the hood and locate the box containing the filter, positioned on the left side of the engine compartment. To access the filter, disconnect the retaining clips and lift the cover of the box so the filter can be removed from inside.

Once the old filter is removed, insert a new one and close the cover of the box. Secure the cover with the retaining clips, and then close the hood.
