This short and simple video will show you the procedure for performing routine maintenance by replacing the engine oil and oil filter on a RAM 3500. First, drain the engine oil by removing the drain plug located on the oil pan; let it drain into a container for about ten minutes, as shown in the video.

Next, remove the oil filter cartridge and properly install the new cartridge.

Finally, remove the fill cap and top off the oil by pouring the appropriate oil for your engine!
