In this short video tutorial, you will see the procedures to replace the transmission oil filter on a 1998 Dodge RAM 2500. Start by opening the hood and removing the old transmission fluid using a pump as shown in the video. Once all the transmission fluid is removed, move under the vehicle.

Here, remove the transmission filter pan by taking out all the bolts with a 13 mm socket. After that, unscrew the two screws holding the filter in place and replace it. Now, all that's left is to reassemble everything, add new fluid, and you have completed the job.
