How to Access the Airbag Module of the Dodge Ram 1500

Learn how to replace the airbag module on the Ram 1500, as well as the 2500 and 3500 models. First, remove the shield protecting the passenger seat from the side, and take out the two bolts in front and the three bolts in the back securing the seat in place. The module is located under the center tunnel, but it is only accessible by removing the passenger seat, which can be done now. Underneath, you will find the electrical connectors that need to be disconnected, allowing access to the airbag module under the center tunnel, which is fully accessible for all necessary operations. Reassembly is straightforward, as there are only five screws to reposition.
