To change the tire on a Dodge Ram 3500: start by engaging the parking brake, then take a floor jack and position it at the front of the vehicle (longitudinal beam) and get the spare tire. Now lift the vehicle slightly, loosen the lug nuts with a proper wrench, raise the vehicle until the tire is off the ground, and remove it. At this point, replace the removed tire with the spare tire, tighten the lug nuts in a crisscross pattern, then lower the vehicle, securely tighten the lug nuts again in a crisscross pattern, and remove the jack.
