To replace the fuel filter on this model you need to do the following. Open the bonnet and lift the car, above the drive shaft, in the rear center is the filter. Provide a basin for collecting the fuel to be placed on the ground, unscrew the drain plug located on the side of the filter cover and drain the fuel. Then, with a socket wrench, unscrew the filter cap and pay attention because more fuel will come out. At this point, remove the filter and take out the new filter of the type suitable for the car (see use and maintenance manual). Replace the O-ring on the filter cap thread and lubricate it. Insert the new filter in the housing respecting the direction and push it to the end of its stroke, after which, screw the cap back on and always tighten it with a socket wrench.

How to Remove the Engine Oil Filter of the Peugeot 308

How do you remove the engine oil filter of the Peugeot 308? Follow this guide to proceed with the replacement. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet and secure it. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the large securing bolt of the container cap where the oil filter is located (engine compartment under the ventilation pipe). Drain the used oil from under the engine sump. Remove the worn oil filter and position a new one, ensuring it adheres well around the walls of the housing. Finally, refit the ventilation pipe and top up the engine oil. Close the front bonnet last.
