In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the diesel filter in a RAM 2500 pickup, a very simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, ensure the engine is completely cold for safety.

Start by locating the filter, which is right next to the battery. Connect a sufficiently long hose to the drain manifold, open the valve, and drain all the fuel inside.

At this point, you can unscrew the cap, remove the filter, and insert the replacement, making sure to also use a new gasket.
