To replace the key fob battery of a Ram 3500 vehicle, you will only need a small flathead screwdriver and a new CR 2450 3V battery. Start by taking your key fob and pressing the button on the side of the casing, which will allow you to extract the metal key inside.

Next, take the small screwdriver and insert the tip into the top edge of the key fob, on the short side; pry it open to access the casing. Now you can remove the old battery and replace it with the new one.
