How do you change the fuses in the engine compartment of a Renault Megane 2?

Model: Renault Megane Megane 2 - Years 2002-2010
Part: Fuse box

Changing a fuse in the engine compartment of your car is a simple thing but it requires a bit of attention. Turn off the car and disconnect the battery for safety. Open the hood and look for the fuse box, usually located near the battery or on the side of the engine. Open the cover, you may need a screwdriver, then use the tweezers provided or your fingers to remove the burnt fuse, you will recognize it because the filament is broken. Check the amperage and replace it with a similar one. Put everything back in place by closing the cover and reconnecting the battery. Now start the car and check that everything is working. If the fuse blows again, there may be a bigger problem so it's better to have it checked by a trusted electrician.
