How to Replace the Battery in a Renault Megane

To replace the battery in a Renault Megane, turn off the engine and open the bonnet. Locate the battery in the engine bay and remove the protective plastic cover. Using an appropriate spanner, disconnect the negative (-) terminal first, followed by the positive (+) terminal. Unscrew the retaining bracket at the base of the battery and carefully lift it out while keeping it upright. Position the new battery in the same housing, ensuring it is correctly oriented. Secure it with the bracket, then connect the positive (+) terminal first, followed by the negative (-) terminal. Tighten the connections well, replace the cover, and check the engine start to ensure proper functioning.
