How to Replace the Battery in a Renault Mégane

To replace the battery in the Renault Mégane IV, open the bonnet and locate the battery in the engine compartment. Remove the plastic cover protecting it and first loosen the negative terminal, then disconnect the positive terminal.

Unscrew the support or bracket that secures the battery to the base and carefully lift it out of the compartment. Insert the new battery in the same position and secure it with the support bracket.

Then, connect the positive terminal first and subsequently the negative terminal, ensuring they are tightly secured. Reposition the plastic cover, close the bonnet, and start the vehicle to check that everything is functioning correctly.
