How to Replace the Battery of the Renault Megane 4 Petrol

Let's see how to replace the battery of the Renault Megane 4 petrol, which is located on the right side of the engine compartment. Remove the plastic cover above the battery, then take off the two battery compartment covers (top and bottom) by unlocking the tabs. Using a screwdriver, remove the plastic rivet that secures the cooling duct of the control unit. Unscrew the support plate by removing the 13 mm bolt, disconnect the negative terminal, then the positive terminal, and remove the battery and support plate. Clean the compartment of dust and debris and lightly sand the cable terminals to remove any oxidation. Apply copper grease to the terminals of the new battery and insert it into the compartment. Connect the positive terminal first, then the negative terminal, replace the air duct and the securing rivet, and put back the battery compartment covers.
