This guide will show you the main instructions on how to remove and replace the battery in the Renault Megane, as well as the Scenic. First, open the bonnet of the vehicle and start by removing the upper plastic cover, releasing the side tab; then disconnect both battery terminals (positive and negative), as shown in the video.

At this point, remove the battery from the battery tray and replace it with the new one of the correct type and with the same amperage; connect it and check its operation when starting the engine!
