How do you replace the gear knob in the Renault Clio?

The gear shift knob visible in the attached video is used in various cars, including the Renault Clio and other cars from the same manufacturer and beyond. If the aforementioned knob is, after time and use, now damaged, we can easily and independently replace it, without necessarily having to go to a workshop. Since it is installed by snapping it in place, it will be sufficient to grasp it with hands or possibly with pliers and as you pull it upwards, turn it right and left, extracting it. Installing the new one involves placing it on the lever and pushing it down forcefully.
