How to replace the fan resistor of the air conditioning on a 2006 Renault Clio 3.

Today we will explain how to replace the fan resistor of the air conditioning on a 2006 Renault Clio 3 independently. We start the replacement by getting on board the vehicle and removing part of the lower and side dashboard on the passenger side of the vehicle, using a plastic removal tool or a flathead screwdriver. After removing the plastics, we remove the glove compartment by unscrewing the screws. Behind the compartment on the left side, the air conditioning fan is mounted. We unscrew the two screws that secure the fan and disconnect the connector. Using a flathead screwdriver, we disconnect the resistor from the fan. Before proceeding with the installation, we remove the lower dashboard on the driver's side. We remove the fuse box and access the air conditioning fan. We disconnect the connector from the fan and remove the resistor, disconnecting the connector. We clean the tips of the resistor, damaged by rust, and mount the resistor on the fan. We mount the fuse box and the lower dashboard. We mount the fan on the passenger side and connect the connector. We mount the glove compartment and the lower and side parts of the dashboard.
