How to open the fuel filler flap on a Renault Clio? First, open the rear hatch and access the boot; detach the fabric or plastic trim with a suitable lever, then locate the fuel filler flap opening motor. Grasp the plastic rod of the motor with your hands and pull it to the right to unlock the flap, or the opposite to lock it (if present on the model). Now remove the fuel filler flap with the attached screws. After removing the flap, replace the damaged motor with a new one of the same type.
