Replacing the air filter on a Renault 19 is a simple and quick task that can be done independently, as the filter is located under the front hood right next to the engine. To replace the filter, we need to unscrew the cap of the box and remove the cylindrical filter. We then insert a new filter in its place. It is advisable to clean the inside of the box from dust residues before performing this operation. The air filter should be replaced every 30,000 km. Failing to replace the filter can cause damage to the engine.
