The Renault Twingo, especially in its latest generation, is legendary for its very tight turning radius, thanks to its front-wheel drive and rear-mounted engine. The third generation, based on the Smart ForTwo platform, is even narrower, with a turning radius of 4.30 meters, aided by special trailing arm suspensions that improve stability without sacrificing maneuverability. It is the car designed for city driving; the steering column is very short, and due to the absence of front mechanical bulk, the turning can be extremely tight. The tires are small and the wheelbase is short, with the cabin shifted forward, optimizing space and visibility.
