Location of the VIN Number on the Renault Clio V

Model: Renault Clio Clio V, Clio 5 - Years 2019-2026
Part: Checks and maintenance

In this video, we see the location of the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) on the Renault Clio V: this is the legal number, stamped on the chassis, which is the only one recognised by the DVLA and the Police for vehicle identification in case of a check. Fortunately, for this model, it is located in an easily accessible position. Indeed, by opening the right door, you will find it halfway up the pillar, on the part that contacts the door itself. It is a code composed of 17 digits, also repeated on the lower side of the windscreen, left side, on the door, on the driver's side on a metal plate, and in the registration document in section 2 letter E).

How to Repair the Key Spring of the Peugeot 207?

Over time, frequent use of the key's flip mechanism in the vehicle, dozens of times a day, inevitably leads to wear of the internal spring. As shown in this video, replacing the spring is quite simple and takes little time. After opening the casing halfway, first position the key, then the spring housing, and finally insert the spring into the previously mentioned housing. Close the casing by rotating it clockwise, ensuring all components fit perfectly, and test the key's flip mechanism.
