How to Remove the Timing Belt of a Renault Scenic

Let's see how to remove and replace the timing belt and water pump on a Renault Scenic 2. Lift the car on a column lift and remove the undertray located underneath the vehicle. Next, disconnect the hose connected to the radiator using pliers. Remove the right wheel splash guard with a screwdriver. Use a spanner to loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its seat. Undo the securing bolt of the tensioner pulley and remove the water pump. Fit the new water pump, tensioner, and belt, then tighten everything with the socket spanner. Tighten the splash guard bolts and refit the wheel on the vehicle.
