In this video, see that the owner of a Renault Megane has lost a key and can no longer start the car. To proceed with the reprogramming, you need blank cards that have never been programmed before, and a laptop with Windows XP or Vista and the Renolink software (provided on CD) installed correctly, which can also be found online, for example, on AliExpress, but it is advisable to check carefully that it is suitable for your vehicle.

You will also need a USB cable on one end and OBD on the other to connect the computer to the car. Start the program.

Insert the first key into the designated slot in the car. The software guides you through the procedure. You can repeat the process up to a maximum of 4 keys.

In the video, they tried to program 4 keys, but only 2 worked, as the vehicle probably already had two coded keys: the two new ones took the places left vacant by the lost ones, allowing the programming of only 2 functioning keys.
