How to Change the Engine Air Filter in a Renault Scenic

To change the engine air filter in a Renault Scenic 3, open the bonnet and position the wipers for maintenance. Remove the rubber seal and the plastic cover at the base of the windscreen on the driver's side. Move the brake fluid reservoir if necessary to access the filter box. Then unscrew the fixing screws of the filter cover and lift it. Extract the old filter element and clean the housing thoroughly, ensuring that dirt and debris do not enter the intake duct. Insert the new filter into the housing, ensuring it fits correctly against the edges. Reattach the cover and tighten the screws, then reposition the cover under the windscreen, the seal, and the brake fluid reservoir. Finally, return the wipers to their normal position. The procedure may vary slightly depending on the engine.
