How the tyre pressure loss warning system works on the Renault Twingo MK4
Model: Renault Twingo
- Years 2026-2026
On the Renault Twingo MK4, the tyre pressure loss warning system is an indirect system: there are no sensors in the valves, but the control unit measures the rotational speed of the wheels. When a tyre loses pressure, its diameter decreases, and that wheel rotates faster than the others; the system detects the difference and illuminates the warning light on the dashboard. When the light comes on, check the cold pressure of all four tyres (and the spare), adhering to the values on the label on the driver's door pillar. Then reinitialize the system: this step tells the control unit what the correct reference pressures are. The procedure is done from the multimedia screen, with the vehicle stationary and the ignition on: go to the Vehicle menu (or Settings), select Tyre Pressure, press Initialisation (or Reset), and confirm that you have checked the pressures. The reinitialisation completes after a few minutes of driving. It is important to remember that if you do not reinitialize after inflating, the system does not know the correct values and may give incorrect warnings.

Resetting the Tyre Pressure Warning Light on the Hyundai I20
The following instructions will show you how to reset the tyre pressure warning light on the Hyundai I20; before performing the reset, ensure that all four tyres are at the correct operating pressure. Then, get in the vehicle and turn on the ignition; press and hold the TPMS button located on the controls to the left of the steering wheel, as well as on the dashboard, as shown in the video. If the tyre pressures are correct, the warning light will automatically reset on the instrument panel; finally, turn off the ignition and start the engine! by ScegliAuto More videos
