In this video, we will see how to install an Apple CarPlay/Android Auto radio in a Renault Clio IV. There are many models available online that are suitable for our vehicle and fit any budget. Start by removing the trim, which comes off without too much force.

Then, remove a total of 10 screws: 4 on the upper trim, 2 at the bottom, and 4 in specific locations (some are Torx). After removing all the screws, pull out the unit and disconnect the connectors at the back. The original buttons should be disconnected and retained, as they will be used in the new frame: insert them into their housings, pressing until they click into place.

Prior to this, connect the power cable to the tablet and turn on the ignition to check that it powers up. The new frame should be secured with the screws provided at the designated points: 4 at the top, 2 at the bottom, and 2 on the sides. Connect the GPS antenna at the back of the unit, routing the cable neatly; after connecting all cables (power, USB, GPS antenna, warning cable, etc.), reassemble everything and reposition the final trim.
