How to open the front hood of the Renault Clio

Model: Renault Clio MK 2, Clio 2 - Years 1998-2005
Part: Body

Before we can start, we will have to go and sit in the driver's seat of our Renault Clio. At the bottom left, under the dashboard, is the hood release lever. So let's start by going to pull this lever. By doing so, we will have unhooked the front hood. We then proceed by getting out of the vehicle and heading towards the front hood. Inside the crack that has been created, there is another release lever, also to be pulled. Once we have pulled this lever, we will have cleared the hood. At this point, all we have to do is lift the hood and secure it in place with the special side rod, and we will have successfully opened the hood.
