Replacing the Remote Battery for a Renault Kadjar

To remove the top cover of the remote, the one with the Renault logo, do not use a screwdriver to pry it off; instead, slide it back by pushing it with your fingers. Once done, it will move away from its seat, and you can remove it. Take off the small round battery cover and extract the battery using a small flathead screwdriver. The battery in question is a CR2032, which is very inexpensive and can be easily found in a hardware store or large supermarket. Insert the new one and close the remote.
