How to Change the Gear Knob on a Renault Clio?

Model: Renault Clio MK 3, Clio 3, Clio III - Years 2005-2013

If you want to personalise your vehicle or refresh the interior, you can replace the gear knob and, if desired, the gaiter as well. First, sit in the driver's seat and obtain a small flathead screwdriver to lever off the plastic cover that shows the gear positions and the half-profile plastic that makes up the knob itself. If you cannot detach it all at once, you can use a craft knife to assist. If you wish, you can also remove the gaiter covering the gear lever. Then, take the new knob and press it into the gear lever housing.
