Dismantling the Windscreen Wiper Motor

Model: Renault Megane Megane 1 - Years 1995-2003
Part: Engine

The wiper motor is integrated into the mechanism and is located just below the windscreen, concealed by a plastic cover; to dismantle it, first remove the seal on the edge of the plastic cover, then proceed to remove the cover itself: there are several screws to undo, including those for the wiper arms that must be removed (this operation requires particular care). Then, extract some retaining clips and remove the plastic cover to access the wiper motor mechanism; free the mechanism to pull it out of its housing and, if necessary, also remove the underlying cover.

How to Remove the Distributor from a Fiat Panda

How to remove the distributor from a Fiat Panda? Lift the bonnet and secure it, then use a screwdriver to unscrew the locking pins of the ventilation pipe, remove the engine soundproofing panel and the cap (detach it). Start by unscrewing the fastening pins of the distributor (as shown in the video); remove the distributor from the engine housing. Install a new distributor inside the engine bay, connect the various cables and close with the cap. Refit all previously removed parts (soundproofing panel, filter, etc.) and test the correct operation.
