How to Replace the Track Rod Ends on a Renault Megane

In this video tutorial, you will see how to replace the track rod ends on a Renault Megane by following some essential steps: first, get into the vehicle, turn off the engine, and pull the handbrake. Lift the front of the car with a hydraulic jack and place safety stands under the vehicle. Remove the wheel by unscrewing the bolts to access the steering system. Once the wheel is removed, place it under the vehicle. Use a penetrating fluid to ease the removal of the track rod end. Mark the position between the track rod and the track rod end; this will help later when you disassemble and reassemble it. Use an 18mm spanner and a 25 Torx key to unscrew the supporting bolt of the track rod end. Use a hammer to sharply strike the nut you have unscrewed. To detach the track rod end from the pin, push on the pin of the track rod end only if you intend to replace it. Unscrew the track rod end, being careful to note the mark and count the necessary turns to remove it. Use a caliper to measure the distance between the lock nut and the track rod.
