Replacing the Cabin Fan Resistor

Model: Renault Trafic MK 2 - Years 2001-2014
Part: Heater core

If the cabin air circulation fan only works at certain speeds, the resistor that controls the speed is likely damaged; to replace this resistor, access the engine bay and remove the air filter housing by disconnecting the intake duct hose and the support bracket for the oil filler cap; once the airbox is removed, you can access the cabin fan control unit, freeing the protective cover to disconnect the wiring and unscrew the securing screws; after removing the old unit, proceed in reverse to install the new one.
