In this guide, we will discover the steps that will show us how to disassemble and replace the ECU (Engine Control Unit) of the Renault Clio 1.2. First, we open the hood of the car and locate our ECU, located behind the battery; then we disconnect the various electrical connections, unscrewing the screws to remove it. At this point, we repair or replace the engine ECU with the new one, correctly wiring it; then we check the engine's operation, resetting any warning lights.
