Replacing the Alternator on the Renault Trafic

Follow these main instructions on how to remove and replace the alternator on the Renault Trafic, as well as the Opel Vivaro. First, open the bonnet of your vehicle and begin by removing the front bumper, unscrewing all the fastening screws. Next, disconnect and remove the alternator belt by loosening the tensioner, as shown in the video. At this point, use a socket spanner to unscrew the alternator bolts, disconnect the electrical wiring to remove it, and replace it with the new one, along with the original.
