How to remove the alternator from the Renault Trafic

This guide shows how to replace the alternator on the Renault Trafic. Using a Torx key, unscrew the two screws securing the bumper, located in the wheel arches. At this point, you can detach the front grille and the headlights after unscrewing the securing screws. Now you can remove the front part of the frame to access the alternator. To detach this component, you need to remove the timing belt, the securing bolts of the part, and the electrical cable. Slide out and insert the new component. Follow the steps in reverse to reassemble everything. Check the proper functioning of the alternator with a multimeter.
