To replace the alternator on the Renault Trafic, open the engine compartment to access the components inside. The alternator is located at the bottom right of the engine block. Loosen the support bolts that secure it in place, as well as the bolt that secures the pulley. By removing the belt that connects it to the crankshaft, you can then remove the alternator from its housing to fit the new one. Ensure it is secured and check that everything is functioning properly.
