To replace the gear knob in a Renault Kangoo, use a tool like a utility knife to detach the leather covering around the knob. Once the covering is removed, grasp the knob and turn it counterclockwise; it is advisable to use pliers for this operation.

This will allow the old knob to be completely removed from its housing, and you can then insert the new replacement part. Ensure it is secured to the lever without causing issues during gear changes.
