Renault Clio - Video tutorial

Model: Renault Clio Clio 2, MK 2 - Years 1998-2005
Part: Arm
Operation: Suspension wishbones replacement

The failure of the support rubbers (silent blocks) of the oscillating arms of the suspensions and of the relative spherical head that connects the arm itself to the hub is quite frequent: in these cases it is possible to proceed either with the replacement of only the bushings and the head (there are in fact special repair kits on the market) or to replace the entire swinging arm (given the relatively low cost, this solution is recommended); for both solutions, however, the arm must be removed; then proceed to lift the car, disconnect the rod-strut from the swinging arm and unscrew the fixing pins of the two bushings and that of the head; remove the old arm and install the new one proceeding the same way on both sides.
