In this video, we see how to replace the third brake light bulb on a Renault Espace IV: we need to open the rear hatch and remove the plastic cover located at the top of the hatch, covering the stop bar. To do this, we only need a plastic spatula to lever on one side, as they are just plastic clips. We can find W16E 12V 16W bulbs in any supermarket, electronics store, or spare parts dealer, for a few euros. To remove them from their housing, we just need to turn them a quarter of a turn and pull them out of the bulb holder, and then do the reverse to insert them back in. At this point, we can put the plastic cover back in place by pressing it, and the job is done.

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
